Why This Exists
This group was born from loss.
After my brother, Devin, passed away, the world didn’t stop, but internally, everything did. Grief rearranged my sense of time, identity, and connection. I quickly realized how isolating loss can feel, even when you’re surrounded by people who care.
What I struggled to find was a space where grief didn’t need to be cleaned up, rushed, or explained away. A space where it could just exist.
Over time, I began dedicating real hours to grief education and coaching frameworks. Not because I believed I had answers but because I wanted to better understand what I was carrying, and how to hold space for others carrying something similar.
What became clear to me is this:
Grief needs community.
Grief needs structure.
And Grief needs expression.
Sometimes that expression is conversation.
Sometimes it’s writing.
Sometimes it’s silence.
Sometimes it’s music.
Devin loved music. And I’ve come to understand how deeply music reaches into the places words can’t. That’s why live music is woven into each gathering, not as entertainment, but as shared experience.
This group is not therapy.
It is not a replacement for professional care.
It is a grounded, intentional space built from lived experience and ongoing learning, developed with professional guidance to ensure it remains steady and safe.
If you are carrying loss, recent or years old, you are welcome here.
You don’t have to carry it alone.
You’ll Never Walk Alone
In Devin’s Memory:
This community exists because love doesn’t disappear when someone does. It changes form. And sometimes, it becomes a place where others can gather.
